About our management team
Ajides has assembled an experienced global management team with expertise ranging from technology management and executive coaching, to international consulting, public sector management, and education. Our management team includes:
- Jovita J. Jenkins, MBA, President & CEO
Ms. Jenkins, the President and founder of Ajides International, Inc., brings a wealth of diverse corporate and entrepreneurial experience to the Ajides’ management team. Starting her professional career as one of the first black woman engineers in aerospace, she climbed the corporate ladder to the executive level. She is also a noted executive and leadership coach, known for her analytical ability to substantively address issues including achieving excellence, assuming leadership, and managing workforce diversity. Jovita holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Mathematics, and an MBA from UCLA. She has also earned Internal Corporate Coach and Certified Professional Coach certifications.
- A. Tarik Bnafa, Ph.D., Executive Vice President
Dr. Bnafa is an internationally known management consultant. He has extensive
experience in developing and delivering management and human resources
training programs to international audiences. His clients include organizations
such as the United Nations, the African Development Bank, and the World Bank.
His consulting expertise also extends to the areas of organizational
self-sufficiency and institutional strengthening of public and private sector
organizations.
- Owen Knox, Ed.D., Director, Educational Programs
Dr. Knox, in addition to his association with Ajides, is a distinguished lecturer and
consultant in organizational development of educational institutions, management
of small and large complex schools, and instructional reform. Dr. Knox has been
an educator for the past 30 years, and has held positions ranging from teacher to
school superintendent responsible for planning and implementing curriculum
programs for a district of over 600,000 students and 60,000 personnel.
- La Verne Terry Tucker, Director, Strategic Development /Human Resources
Ms. Tucker has worked in the field of strategic development and human resources
for over 20 years. As a successful consultant and motivational speaker, she draws
upon her vast experience in the areas of communications, personnel, strategic
planning and labor relations, to assist companies in the development and
implementation of effective business strategies and training seminars to optimize
their organizations.
